Hamilton Wingo’s Chris Hamilton and Paul Wingo recently earned selection among the 2024 Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers, which recognizes fewer than 1 percent of all attorneys in the U.S.
The annual roster published by Lawdragon Inc. includes the country’s top attorneys for consumers in cases against large corporate interests. The honorees are selected based on the organization’s independent research and submissions from attorneys nationwide.
The firm’s attorneys represent people in all types of cases involving products and services provided by large corporations. That work includes lawsuits over defective airplanes and negligent airlines, faulty construction equipment and unsafe worksites, irresponsible restaurants and bars, careless hospitals and medical professionals, and many other areas.
With Chris as lead trial attorney, Hamilton Wingo helped a local family win the fourth- largest verdict against a corporation in U.S. history with a $7.3 billion award against a Fortune 100 company.
