And then by the end of October, during therapy, they broke his neck again. And so he had surgery again, and then he lost everything he had gained. And then we decided through conversations with other people that we should sue. And so I originally went to a lawyer in Austin. He recommended Paul and Chris to take the case and they did, and they are amazing. And they have helped us so much, helped me knew how it was going to end if Aaron passed before the lawsuit, we got what we needed. And it happened. They told me that it might, and it did. In the background, they were working hard and doing what they were supposed to do, but any time, and it was all for our benefit and they were very concerned about that.
But then when I was around them, they were very personable. And I liked that a lot. Our daughters did too. It gave me such peace and I’d never done anything like this before. This is the first time we’ve ever had anything like this happen, but it just gave me peace about everything.
