Hamilton Wingo, LLP, is pleased to announce that David Tomek has been awarded the 2015 Weatherbie Workhorse Award by Texas Bar CLE. The Weatherbie Workhorse Award is given annually to one attorney who – for years, even decades – has been a stalwart of real estate continuing legal education courses and on whom the Texas real estate bar has come to depend for regular and quality contributions as an author and speaker.
The Weatherbie Workhorse Award was created in 2002 and named after Dallas attorney David Weatherbie, who for years masterfully presented the annual real estate case law update with style and humor, often repeating his presentations at local bar associations around the State, as well as at the State Bar’s annual advanced programs.
David Tomek practices in Hamilton Wingo, LLP’s real estate division. He has been named a Texas Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly from 2008-2009 and 2011-2014. He has been Texas Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law since 1989.
